Francisca Silva holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Sociology, specializing in Inequalities and Social Intervention, from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto.

Throughout her academic career, she explored the topic of social inequalities, particularly gender inequalities, developing her internship report on a comparative study of the cases of the University of Porto and the University of Lund regarding gender equality.

Currently, she is a PhD student in Sociology at ISEG, and is part of the CoLABOR team as a Research Technician, within the scope of the development of the “ManaGENDER” Project.
