CoLABOR presents the results of the evaluation of the 25 years of the Escolhas Program

CoLABOR, within the scope of the evaluation initiatives of the Thematic Program Demography, Qualifications and Inclusion – People 2030, integrated into Portugal 2030, was the entity responsible for evaluating the Escolhas Program.

The results of this evaluation will be presented publicly on September 24th, between 9:45 am and 1:00 pm, at the Auditorium of the Lisbon Youth Center in Moscavide. The session will allow participants to learn about the main results of the 25-year evaluation of the Escolhas Program and reflect on its impacts and contributions to the social inclusion of children and young people in more vulnerable contexts.

Entry is free, but prior registration.

The Choices Program, created in 2001, is a national governmental public policy, integrated, since 2023, into the IPDJ - Portuguese Institute of Sport and Youth, IP.

About the event:

Following the opening session, Sónia Costa, researcher at CoLABOR and coordinator of the evaluation, will present the main results of the work carried out. This will be followed by a debate, moderated by Paula Cardoso, founder of the Afrolink network, which will bring together various stakeholders of the Program, such as participants, team members and representatives of partner consortium entities - for a reflection on the trajectory, results and impact of the Escolhas Program.

The session will also include a presentation by Teresa Martins, from the Aga Khan Foundation, as a guest speaker, followed by the closing session.
