Today, November 26th, at the CoLABOR 2025 Conference, CoLABOR presents the new edition of the publication "Work, Employment and Social Protection 2025" (TEPS 2025), an annual report that aims to portray, contextualize and relate the main trends in the areas of work, employment and social protection, contributing to an informed reflection on public policies.
This year's edition dedicates its central chapter to the unequal effects of the climate transition, analyzing the quantitative expression of green and brown jobs in Portugal, characterizing their respective socio-professional profiles, and identifying the groups most vulnerable to decarbonization policies and the transition to a low-carbon economy.
In addition to the main theme, TEPS 2025 includes three more thematic chapters:
Economic context and labor market
Job quality, labor relations, and inequalities
Social protection
These chapters address a broad range of themes that, together, allow us to characterize and problematize the economic, social, and political-institutional framework of the country, offering a comprehensive view of current and emerging challenges in the field of work and employment.
With this publication, CoLABOR reinforces its commitment to producing applied, rigorous, and relevant knowledge for the design, monitoring, and evaluation of public policies in Portugal.
