Decent Work: Context and Readings of the Agenda, an event that featured prominent figures from academia and law, and the participation of the Minister of Labour, Solidarity and Social Security, Ana Mendes Godinho.

The entry into force of Law No. 13/2023 brought a significant number of changes to the Labor Code and related legislation. To further this debate, CoLABOR held the Colloquium “Decent Work: Context and Readings of the Agenda” on July 4th at the Auditorium of the Portuguese Communications Foundation.

The discussion surrounding the Decent Work Agenda is one of the most important political debates of the beginning of this decade, primarily because the current socioeconomic context is substantially different from what existed during the last major transformation of labor laws in Portugal, which occurred in 2003 with the approval of the Labor Code.
