Its objectives will be (i) to promote business strategies in response to labor market and economic dynamics; and (ii) to contribute to public policies that can address imbalances in labor supply and demand in Portugal. The project will be developed in phases, deepening and broadening its scope in subsequent phases. In Phase I, Main Trends and Challenges of Employment in Portugal, the aim is to initiate a preliminary diagnosis of labor and employment dynamics in Portugal, focusing on three fundamental themes: migratory movements; skills, expectations and quality of employment; and fiscal and labor policies.
