On May 26th, at 2:30 PM, in will be presented "Employment in Portugal: Public Policies and Business Strategies", followed by a debate with experts.
The session brings together a panel of experts to discuss the main challenges facing the labor market in Portugal. Based on the conclusions and recommendations for public policies and business strategies presented in the report — the result of a partnership between CoLABOR and associates SONAE, MOTA-ENGIL, DST GROUP and CONFMINHO — topics such as the difficulties in workforce growth, employment mismatches, challenges in hiring and retaining workers, the evolution of the relationship between productivity and wages, as well as the integration of the immigrant population into the labor market will be addressed.
In a context of growing social and economic challenges, this initiative aims to promote informed reflection and contribute to the identification of solutions with a positive impact on the economic and social fabric, seeking to mitigate imbalances between the supply and demand for labor.
This initiative is part of the mission of Collaborative Laboratories (CoLAB), which aims to promote collaboration between the scientific system, the business sector, and the public sector, with a view to developing solutions geared towards addressing economic and social challenges.
