CoLABOR was part of the program of the Academy on Decent Work for Social Justice, an event that took place between February 10 and 14 at the headquarters of the Institute of Employment and Vocational Training (IEFP) in Lisbon.
The initiative aimed to explore the interconnections between employment policies, social protection, and vocational training in Portuguese-speaking countries, promoting more integrated and effective approaches to promoting decent work.
Researcher Frederico Cantante participated as a speaker at the Seminar on Labor Market Analysis and Social Protection Indicators for the Design and Evaluation of Policies to Promote Decent Work. During his presentation, he introduced the statistical and legal information platform DataLABOR, highlighting its contribution to the analysis and monitoring of labor market and social protection indicators.
The Academy on Decent Work for Social Justice brought together senior and technical staff from Ministries and public institutions, social partners, policymakers, and representatives of non-governmental organizations, civil society, and international cooperation from the member states of the Community of Portuguese-Speaking Countries (CPLP).
Organized by the International Training Centre of the International Labour Organization (ILO-CIF), this edition of the Academy falls within the scope of the ACTION/Portugal, funded by the Strategy and Planning Office (GEP) of the Ministry of Labour, Solidarity and Social Security of Portugal, and the training program developed in partnership between IEFP and ILO-CIF.
