CoLABOR launches the Managender project

CoLABOR is launching Managender, a new project funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), which aims to investigate "glass ceilings" – invisible barriers that hinder women's access to management positions.

Through quantitative and qualitative methodologies, Managender aims to:
✔️ Analyze gender inequalities in career progression to leadership positions and associated remuneration;
✔️ Identify the social, economic, and institutional factors that underpin these barriers.

This phenomenon, prevalent across several European countries, not only limits the development of women's skills and talent but also has negative impacts on well-being and the economy.

With a planned duration of one year, the study's results will be presented at a final conference and compiled into a scientific publication, contributing to the advancement of research and the development of policies to reduce inequality.
