CoLABOR developed, in partnership with the Institute for Public and Social Policies (IPPS), the data platform "State of the Nation in Numbers," which complements the report that the institute publishes annually and presents a detailed analysis of the national situation in different dimensions.
This portal, by gathering statistical information with a long time series relating to different countries on topics relevant to the development of societies, has the main objective of contributing to the preparation of well-founded analyses and, in this way, to the improvement of public debate.
In the 2021 report, entitled “Governing in a State of Emergency”, CoLABOR researcher Frederico Cantante is the author of the chapter dedicated to Social Protection, where he presents a diagnosis regarding job protection during the pandemic and an analysis of the Extraordinary Income Support for Workers social policy.
