November 4th: CoLABOR Conference | Work in the climate and digital transitions

On November 4th, at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, CoLABOR, the Collaborative Laboratory for Work, Employment and Social Protection, held an international meeting entitled "Work in the Climate and Digital Transitions," with the aim of contributing to reflection and improving the public debate on the repercussions that these changes, accelerated by the pandemic crisis and the subsequent global economic and social crisis, have on working conditions and employment, as well as on social protection and labor regulation.

The event featured two international keynote speakers, Pamela Meil, from the Institute for Social Science Research in Munich, and David Mosler, from the International Labour Organization, both with extensive experience in studying the impact of technology on work and employment. It also brought together leaders, workers' representatives, and renowned experts in their fields who presented their perspectives on "Decent work in the climate and digital transitions" and "Social protection and labor regulation in a context of technological and organizational change.".
