CoLABOR – the Collaborative Laboratory for Work, Employment and Social Protection – will hold its annual event on December 13th at the Gulbenkian Foundation, entitled 'CoLABOR 2024 Conference – Work, Vulnerabilities and Social Security: Instruments and Policies'.
In the morning session, highlights include the presentation of the CoLABOR publication 'Work, Employment and Social Protection 2024', as well as presentations and debates around two panels: (i) Lisbon under the magnifying glass – cartographies of a fragmented city; and (ii) Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation of Public Policies.
In the afternoon session, given that the document 'Green Paper on the Sustainability of theSocial Security Pension System' has recently been put up for public discussion, we will have two roundtables for reflection and readings on the green paper, the first with prominent former government officials; and the second with expert researchers in these areas.
The 2024 Conference will seek to contribute to key themes in the areas of work, employment and social protection, from a scientific, social and economic perspective.
