Summary
The Atlas of Local Power is a digital platform that provides socioeconomic characterization information for municipalities and information on the results of local elections. The portal has three components: 1) presentation of data on the socioeconomic profile of municipalities, as well as the identification of the political force and the elected mayor; 2) for each political force, the average values of various statistical indicators are presented in the municipalities where that force held the mayoralty. This information can be filtered for the entire national territory or by NUTS II regions; 3) presentation of information on the winning political force in local elections and the respective electoral results at the national and municipal levels since 1976.
