Summary
The Atlas of Portugal in Europe places Portugal in comparative perspective with other European countries, allowing for an analysis of the country's trajectory over the last few decades within the context of European integration. This Atlas has three components. The first component is dedicated to presenting a curated selection of statistical indicators, organized thematically, for each European country or region. This component portrays the socioeconomic and institutional reality of each country, with the territory serving as the reference point for information presentation. Additionally, this component of the platform will provide statistical information organized by region.
The second component of the platform focuses on themes and their respective statistical indicators. While the first component, data visualization, aims to offer users the possibility of multidimensional characterization of each country or region, this component is designed to promote comparative analyses between European countries for each of the selected themes and indicators.
The third component consists of a compendium of data relating to legislative elections in European countries.
