Abstract:
Preparation and elaboration of an evaluative study on the extent, characteristics, and impact of shift work in Portugal, with a view to strengthening the social protection of these workers, as foreseen in Article 250 of Law No. 2/2020, of March 31. The “Evaluative Study on the Extent, Characteristics, and Impact of Shift Work in Portugal” should be read as a contribution to identifying the use of this form of work organization in Portugal, its distribution within the workforce, the corresponding legal framework, and its impacts on workers and labor relations.
